A few years ago, we were approached by a pantry that wanted to go paperless to expedite services to the clients as well as help with data collection for grant writing. There was a packaged client tracking program available, but it was unable to keep up with the changing requirements of the grant requests. We were able to customize a database for them that enables us to make changes to reporting the data, which in turn makes grant writing much more timely.
